Happy New Year

Interesting development with the polls about New Year's Eve. In the polls I've seen, about 57% of people claim they did not stay up till midnight to see the new year come in. I'm in that same catagory.

Our church, New Testament Christian is showing growth. We have had several new families attending with us over the past couple of months. We are also reestablishing purpose, mission, and vision. To get see just where we're moving, read the sermons from December 31st, January 7th, and subsequent sermons as they appear each Monday. The site is www.newtestamentchristianonline.com.

A number of developments in the world are very troubling. Tonight, President Bush will reveal his latest plan for Iraq. Remember to keep the President as well as every other political leader in your prayers. Also, remain faithful. Whether these are the end times that so many preachers are claiming or not, faithfulness matters.

My oldest son will be returning from Southeast Asia in a couple of weeks. We haven't seen him in a year and a half and are looking forward to the reunion. Keep his travel in your prayers. He will be home for about 6 months before he returns.

I hope that God will bless your new year.
